You will be required to submit the following documentation/information with your application to the Accelerated BSN Nursing Program or RN to BSN (online) program. Please gather your documentation prior to starting the application. We estimate it will take you approximately 20 minutes to complete this application.
  1. Basic demographic information (i.e. name, date of birth, current address, emergency contact person, etc.), list of all post-secondary schools you have attended (we do not need your high school information), and your employment history for the past five years.
  2. Proof of Delaware Residency (i.e. DE driver’s license information) http://www.udel.edu/registrar/students/residency.html
  3. Unofficial/official copies of transcripts from all post-secondary schools you have attended (you will upload as a PDF during the application process).
  4. Note: If you are admitted to the nursing program, you will be required to send in official hard copies of each transcript in order to have your transfer credits posted to your UD transcript.
  5. For RN to BSN (online) program, there is no set deadline for application submission. Your nursing license and state in which you are licensed must be included when you submit your application.
  6. You will be asked to answer three short essay questions at the end of the application.
  7. The Accelerated BSN program application deadline for the fall semester is April 1st.
Thank you for your application, we look forward to reviewing your materials shortly.

Please note:  Each fall semester there are limited seats offered in the Accelerated BSN program and it is a competitive process for admission. Those who have been informally advised regarding prerequisite courses for admission and/or meet stated minimum requirements for the program are not guaranteed admission.
