International Student Transfer Form
Student Transfer-In Form (PDF)
This form is required of all foreign students who are transferring their visa to the University of Delaware's English Language Institute. Please ask a designated school official at your current school to complete this form and have it sent to the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) as per the instructions on the form.Please note: If you plan on leaving the country before completing the transfer-In process, you will need to apply for a new, initial I-20 form and obtain a new visa.
Special Note: The PreMBA is a Level VI area of study within the Intensive English Program. PreMBA students must all have high advanced levels of English, as measured by the ELI’s placement test. Students who take the placement test and are placed below Level VI will be expected to take courses within the Intensive English Program until they reach Level VI, at which time they can begin their Pre-MBA curriculum.
All packages must be sent to the student per US 2019 government regulations. Those being sent to international destinations will be sent via a secure express mail service. Packages being sent to a US destination will be sent via FedEx.
Proof of financial resources - This can take the form of a bank statement or a bank letter, and it must show the following information:

The ELI sometimes uses images of its students in marketing communications and promotional materials in order to promote its programs and activities. This includes our brochures, website, and social media (ex: Facebook).
Pictures and videos of current students make it easier for future students to understand what life is like at the ELI.
