Visit the School of Music

    Music students and families are welcome to explore the School of Music in person or from the comfort of home!


    Schedule an on-campus visit with a music admissions representative to ask questions and see the School of Music facilities. In-person visits are available Tuesdays and Thursdays starting early September through early December at 11:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, and 1:30pm. Sessions will last about 20 minutes. The tour will begin at the Amy E. DuPont Music Building Main Office (Room 209).

    Virtual visits are available at a mutually convenient time upon request by contacting music admissions.

    If you are under the age of 18; a parent, guardian, or another adult 18 years or older must be present during the appointment with you. You will be prompted to enter the name of the adult attending the session on the registration form.

    Note: The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will host separate visit opportunities, which can be scheduled here. We highly recommend you schedule these sessions in addition to our School of Music sessions, so you can learn about UD admissions, financial aid and scholarships, and much more.

    Weekend Opportunities

    Students can attend one of our Saturday Blue and Golden Open Houses where the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Music will host department-focused, information-led sessions specific to the major that you're interested in. Faculty will discuss courses you will take, career paths to consider after graduation, support services, and the vast opportunities you will have as a UD student.
