Thank you for your interest in bringing a group to visit the University of Delaware!

Group visits are designed for students in grades 9–12 who are affiliated with a high school, community-based organization, or two-year college. We are unable to accommodate elementary/middle school groups or groups coordinated by a travel agency.

We offer group visits Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10:30 am. We are unable to accommodate requests outside of these times.

Group Visit Overview

A group visit to the University of Delaware includes a 30-minute information session led by an admissions counselor, followed by a 90-minute walking tour of campus guided by our student Blue Hen Ambassadors.

Registration Information

• Reservations are required and must be completed online.
• We are currently unable to accommodate elementary or middle school groups.
• Registration for the group visit must be made three weeks in advance.
• Groups cannot be larger than 60 total guests (students and chaperones). 
• Group visits are unavailable during university breaks. 
• Please note that submitting the request form does not confirm your visit. You will receive a follow-up email from University of Delaware staff after your request has been reviewed—typically within 3-5 business days.

Group Visit Guidelines

• Group visits are intended for students in grades 9–12 from high schools, community-based organizations, or two-year colleges.
• One chaperone is required for every 15 students, and chaperones must remain with the group for the duration of the visit.
• UD does not provide lunch vouchers or coordinate lunch for visiting groups.
