College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Opportunities

    Explore all that the CANR has to offer. While we’re not currently able to provide in-person tours of our premier 350 acre on-campus farm and facilities, we still welcome the opportunity to meet with you. Choose 1 or all 3 virtual options below. We look forward to getting to know you!

    OPTION 1 – Weekend Events:

    Blue and Golden Open House Events (October 10, October 25, November 14)
    The most comprehensive program for prospective students and families, our Blue and Golden Virtual Open House provides opportunities to engage with CANR faculty, current students and representatives from across campus.

    OPTION 2 – STUDENT PANEL – Picture Yourself Here: Being an Undergraduate in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources

    Wonder what everyday life is like as a student at UD? Why did our students choose UD and what are their plans after graduation? What does an average day look like outside of class time? What do they love most and why? What is the thing they learned most about themselves since they arrived? Join us for a moderated and candid panel of current students in varying majors in the college. Picture yourself here as a freshman or transfer...we look forward to having you join our family!

    OPTION 3 – Virtual Faculty and Ag Ambassador Meeting

    Looking for a more intimate visit option? Join us and discover why the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources is one of the most popular places on campus. Hear from faculty and current students from your preferred major as they share their experiences and passion about being part of our college. Learn about the numerous majors you can choose from, the student clubs and organizations you can join, and what the future here has in store for you.

    Using the calendar below, please select a date that you hope to visit with us. When choosing time of day, keep in mind that morning appointments may begin as early as 8:00 a.m. and afternoon appointments may run as late as 4:30 p.m.
    IMPORTANT: Virtual visits are based on faculty and student Ag Ambassador availability therefore your assigned appointment time and Zoom link will be emailed to you once your request has been processed. 

    The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts a variety of tours (both in-person and virtual) and information sessions that complement the CANR virtual visit. Go to for more information.
